Marcia Mantell is a senior advisory board member for Convergent Retirement Plan Solutions, LLC.

A seasoned retirement industry veteran, Marcia graciously shares her time and talents with Convergent 's executive management team. Participating regularly in Convergent 's strategic development meetings, Marcia provides industry insight and guidance regarding Convergent 's overall market strategy as well as the ongoing evolution of the company's comprehensive suite of retirement products and services.

As a former vice president and retirement leader within Fidelity Investments, Marcia spearheaded the development of numerous retirement plan marketing programs and campaigns at Fidelity for both advisors and consumers. Marcia developed the innovative new program, Fidelity Advisor Retirement Income Services , designed specifically to assist advisors in capturing market share in the rapidly evolving baby boomer retirement market.

Marcia was also a member of Fidelity's cross-company team that launched the company's highly successful retirement income program into the marketplace in 2004.

Traveling extensively throughout the country during 2004 and 2005, Marcia introduced Fidelity's retirement income program to thousands of advisors nationwide.

Skilled in many facets of the IRA and defined contribution marketplace, Marcia was also responsible for product development, management and marketing of IRAs and small business products during her tenure at Fidelity. Over the years, she served as Fidelity's subject matter expert and spokesperson for these products, appearing on numerous radio talk shows and quoted frequently in various advisor and consumer oriented print media.

Marcia is a guest lecturer at Bentley College , where she helps educate future advisors and financial planners about various retirement plans. She has also met with members of Congress and the IRS to discuss retirement planning solutions for small business owners.

Marcia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester , in Rochester , NY . She and her husband are raising two daughters in the suburbs of Bosto n .
