Prior to stepping up into a management role at UPI, Jennifer wore several hats including those of technical writer, 1-800 consultant, and seminar instructor.
Jennifer holds a degree in English/ Journalism from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She has also been designated a certified employee benefits specialist (CEBS) by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jennifer earned the CEBS designation after passing a series of 10 national examinations on employee benefit subjects. She currently lives in Brainerd, Minnesota with her husband, Ben (the president and
co-founder of Convergent Retirement Plan Solutions, LLC.) and their three small sons—including twins. Jennifer serves on the board of the local mothers of multiples club and, when a spare minute or two arises, enjoys classical music, gardening, baking, and trudging through the Northern Minnesota woods with her family.
