Connie L. Spaulding, Director of Business Development for Convergent Retirement Plan Solutions, LLC, a firm dedicated to helping the nation's leading financial organizations meet their diverse retirement plan training, compliance and business development needs. Connie partners with Convergent’s senior consultants to identify and implement tailored business solutions for financial organizations nationwide.

Prior to joining Convergent Retirement Plan Solutions, LLC, Connie held various management, sales and marketing roles at Universal Pensions, Inc., then BISYS Retirement Services for 19 years.  A strong client dedication has enabled Connie to foster broad business relationships with industry specialists nationwide.  Connie has, due to her longevity in the retirement industry, gained impressive industry expertise that underlies all of her client interaction, enabling her clients, with her expertise, to make relevant, informed decisions as they consider retirement plan products and services.  Connie’s vast management experience has armed her with the skills necessary to manage client relationships and requests quickly, efficiently and accurately every time.

Prior to her career in the retirement services industry, Connie taught high school language arts programs and was a forensics coach and drama Director.  Coaching and mentoring others has been a distinguishing highlight of her career and personal life.

Connie currently resides in Brainerd, MN, during the summer months and Gulf Shores, AL, during the winter season.  When not in the office, Connie is likely to be found coaching flowers to bloom and apples to blossom, cooking and reading cookbooks or nestled with reading material of varied scope.  Traveling, enjoying family time and nurturing personal relationships round out Connie’s activities.

Connie holds a BS degree in English from Winona State University, and continued her education with graduate studies at Stout University in Menomonie, WI.
